[All day event] Solemnity of All Saints'

All Saints' Day is for all the known and unknown saints who have died and gone before us and who are at rest with Christ. Simply put, to be a saint is to do God's will eac h day throughout one's life to the best of one's ability. This is God's cal l for each of us who have been brought into His Body, the Church, through Baptism. The origin of this feast day can be traced back to the 4th centur y. Ephrem of Syria and John Chrysostom, both Eastern Church Fathers, call ed this day the feast of martyrs of the whole world.
