[All day event] FRATERNITY is Matthew 25
- Description:
- "Come and possess the kingdom which has been prepared for yo u... I was a stranger and your received me... I was sick and you took care of me... Whenever you did this for one of the least important of these foll owers of mine, you did it for me." ~ Matthew 25: 34-40
Two youn g men were canoeing on a river in the Canadian wilds. One day they both bec ame ill. Fortunately, they spotted a trapper's cabin. They beached their c anoe and walked up to the cabin. It was unlocked. In one corner was a cot. On it lay an open Bible with a note. It read:
"Your cabin saved m y life. I was seriously ill and needed shelter. Your cabin provided it. I h ave no money with which to repay you. I can only promise you God's blessing . Read the passage from Matthew 25."
