We have shared with each other more than our faith. We have shared our j oys, our pains and worries, our dreams and our hopes. We have shared our lives... There is nothing I would not do for the members of our group. I fe el very blessed." ~ Mark Link, S.J.

"Those who declare publicly that they belong to me, I will do the same for them before my Father in heaven." ~ Matthew 10:32 The preacher at F.W. de Klerk's inauguration made a disturbing point. He said that the South African president had the awesome responsibility of dis cerning God's will and acting on it. This planted a seed in de Kl erk's mind that grew and grew. Slowly, it led him to pursue the dismantlin g of the dehumanizing apartheid system and granting citizenship to 35 milli on blacks. de Klerk said later that he knew that in pursuing this unpopular policy he would be rejected by his own people, but this did not deter him . ~ Mark Link, S.J.
