Some people are surprised to learn that the Ch urch has never taught as a matter of strict faith that every person has a p ersonal guardian angel.
Nevertheless, the idea of a guardian ang el enjoys a long tradition in the Church. And many Christians will testify that they have experienced a special protection at times in their lives.
