I once saw a man in Los Angeles wearing a s ign that said, "I'm a fool for Christ. Whose fool are you?" I thought at t he time, "That's the most stupid thing I've ever seen." But one night many years later it would be revealed to me that God - who is more than just an image on a piece of wood - loved me. And though I had shunned Him all my l ife, I realized my desperate need of Him.

It was then I understood the truth of that odd sign I had seen years before: the cross is foolishnes s to those who are perishing. That night I knelt at the foot of the cross a nd believed in Jesus. I have been a fool for Christ ever since. ~ John Wimb er, adapted

[All day event] Silver Rose Program Participation and Dates Due
Description:
The Silver Rose Program originated 60 years ago by the Squires. This has been passed onto the Councils to continue the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and her message on the dignity of life. All Councils who wish to host the Silver Rose Rosary prayer service, or Mass processional , must have their request in with 3 possible dates, by April 1st. The Rosa ry centered prayer service with Mass should be a stand alone ceremony in a chapel or hall, if the main Church is unavailable.
