CHARITY is seeing with the heart

Description "Whatever you did for one of the least important of these fo llowers of mine, you did it for me." ~ Matthew 25:40

An editori al began: "A priest we know recently described his experience of being conf ronted by a beggar while eating at a fast-food restaurant. The beggar said he was hungry, and the priest, intimidated and nervous, could only say, "I;m sorry," and look the other way.

Later, as the priest recoun ted the story, he was praying Psalm 80, "LORD, let me see your face," w hen the image of the beggar came to mind.

How many times have you se en the LORD and not recognized him?...
Christ simply appears before us:& nbsp; hungry, cold and ill. Once He was a condemned prisoner led to the s laughter for the sins of others. Now He approaches us in McDonald's smellin g badly....Do we see His face?" ~ The Sunday Visitor
