| Description | "The LORD is... in this place, and I didn't know it." ~ Genesis 28:16 During World War II, Eddie Rickenbacker and a crew o f seven crashed into the Pacific. All supplies were lost, except for four small oranges. After eight days, it rained and they were able to collect a supply of water to drink. On another occasion, a seagull landed on Ricken backer's head. He caught it for food, which they all shared. After 21 days , rescue came. One of the things that kept them going was a prayer session each day. A prayer they prayed often was Psalm 139. "Where could I go to escape from you? Where could I get away from your presence? ....If I flew away beyond the east or lived in the farthest place in the w est, you would be there to lead me, you would be there to he lp me" (Psalm 139:7, 9-10) ~ Mark Link, S.J.
