After my husband put away the last things, he came over and said affectionately, "Close your eyes. I h ave a surprise for you." When I opened them, he was holding a jar of cauli flower, paced in pickle juice. He said softly, "I hid it from the kids, because I knew you liked cauliflower packed in pickle juice."
