The beggar said he was hungry, and the priest, intimidated and nervous, could only say, "I;m sorry," and look the other way. Later, as the priest recoun ted the story, he was praying Psalm 80, "LORD, let me see your face," w hen the image of the beggar came to mind. How many times have you se en the LORD and not recognized him?... Christ simply appears before us:& nbsp; hungry, cold and ill. Once He was a condemned prisoner led to the s laughter for the sins of others.
