The verdict of the videotaped interview was that it was har dly usable. Mother Teresa's delivery was halting and her accent was thick. One BBC official, however, felt that the interview had a mysterious power and decided to air it on a Sunday night. Response to the program was amazi ng - both in terms of mail and contributions. What came through was not "sk illful words" but "the power of God's Spirit" speaking through Mother Teres a - the same power that Paul talks about in today's Bible reading. ~ Mark L ink, S.J.
