PATRIOTISM is exercising the power to vote

Susan B. Anthony was arrested in 1892 for demanding to vote in the presidential election in Roch ester, NY. She knew the value of one vote. In 1649, one vote caused King Charles of England to be executed. In 1876, one electoral vote elected Rut herford B. Hayes president. In 1875, one vote changed France from a monarc h to a republic. In 1886, one vote kept Andrew Johnson from being impeache d as president of the United States. ~ Mark Link, S.J.

Pray that th e LORD may flood a superabundance of grace into the hearts of American vote rs so that their choice will reflect Your Will for the United States and a profound respect for human life. 

Should the Knights take a mo re aggressive stance to inform the electorate on critical issues, especial ly those pertaining to justice, human rights and peace?
