Many men carry deep, deep hurts that need to be heal ed and men need to build trustful relationships to begin to address those h urts. When events occur in a man's life that threaten his self-concept and he is so overwhelmed with events he finds difficult to deal with; he may n ot be able to bring himself y\to get out of bed in the morning. Sometimes the pain goes deeper and into the past. In all these situations, me n need to be ministered to by other men by praying together, working toget her and playing together. It may mean listening to a man who has never reve aled the brutal details of his darkest combat days in Vietnam.
