Thomas Jefferson was the autho r of the Declaration of Independence and the 3rd President of the United St ates. He once said: "The care of human life and happiness, and not their d estruction, is the first and only object of good government."
Yet, today, thousands of "legalized" abortions destroy human life each day in the country that Jefferson helped to found. Meanwhile, several million U.S . couples are on agency lists, waiting to adopt a child. ~ Mark Link S.J.< br>
